Evaluation Of Rough Cut

The rough cut we finished looks reasonable, when I first saw what it looked like I knew that a lot more work was needed.
After working on it a few hours we were more happy with it. the opening shot of the angel sign and scene shots of the train station i really liked as it would set the mood for the film and would create an effect in the film.
The shot of Bria walking towards the camera with the gas mask i feel is also very effective and our use to introduce her character like that i think sets the genre of the film to show its supernatural thriller.
we also think the sound we used was also very effective in creating the atmosphere of a scary film, we tried to incorporate some of our own sound within the film but noticed it didn't work to well. we also liked the fact we could use the moving trains in to our film as they did not stop and we could get a continuous movement.
the costume we used was a school uniform to make it look more scarier and to create an effect as people think of children being innocent but our character was killing people.

we also tried filmed during the day as we thought it was the safer option than filming at night because it was a busy railway line and trains would go by constantly.
in conclusion i feel our rough cut was to how us how we needed to change it and help us notice our flaws and where we are strong.

the rails and guard we filmed looked rustic and looked scary with the branches in the background.

the trains also shot were used to our advantage to show the audience the location and make the obvious stand out.
